3. Westminster Wine Stroll

Enjoy a tasting of local wines at this Sip, Shop & Stroll event as Main Street transforms into a Wine Mart with local wineries, wine-related vendors, and delectable bites from food vendors and local establishments. Live entertainment featuring The Reagan Years. We are excited to see you on Main Street!

4. Carroll County Farmer’s Market – Spring Fling

Saturday, April 20⋅8:00am – 2:00pm

On Saturday, April 20th the Carroll County Farmer’s Market will hold its Spring Fling Show featuring Plants, Plants, and more Plants. Our plant vendors will be here selling spring perennials, annuals, herb plants, tomato plants, early lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, red, yellow, and white onion sets, as well as house plants.  Everything you need to start planting your garden.  The hours are 8am-2pm. There will be a free drawing for a gardening basket full of gardening items to use.

There will be between 75 vendors participating in this show.  Among the handmade crafts and fine arts available are handbags, jewelry, and pottery, painted wood crafts, soaps, baskets, and so much more.

Our food stands provide home baked goods, including cakes, pies, scones, cookies, breads, rolls and biscotti. You will also find jams and jellies, candy, honey, nuts, dip mixes, fresh eggs, emu products; farm raised beef, pork, and lamb, cheese, wine, and much more.

The cafeteria is open during market hours for breakfast and lunch. Pancakes and egg sandwiches are great for breakfast and don’t miss out on a slice of homemade pie or cake.

5. Mid Atlantic Alpaca Association – Alpaca Jubilee Show

Saturday, April 20⋅9:00am – 5:00pm

Join us for one of the largest Alpaca shows in the country.  The weekend hosts 2 Halter Shows, a Fleece Show and a Walking Fleece Show.  Come to see these unique animals at their best and shop for alpaca products in our Vendor area.  Then be sure to see the Youth Performance classes in Showmanship, Obstacles, and Costume classes.  Hundreds of Alpacas will delight everyone of all ages.   Food will be available.

Seeing the overwhelming need for more Barrel Shows to be held in the Central Maryland Area.

By holding the shows in Westminster, MD it still makes the shows very feasible and accessible

for Pennsylvania and Virginia racers as well.
