Memorial Day Remembrance Parade and Observance Ceremony

The Community Media Center, (CMC) in partnership with The American Legion - Carroll Post 31 will present live coverage of the Westminster Memorial Day Remembrance Parade & Observance Ceremony on Monday, May 27th starting at 10:00 AM on cable channel HD 1086 and Channel 19. 

For over 80 years, Carroll Post 31 has remembered our fallen servicemen and women through the Memorial Day Remembrance Parade and Observance Ceremony in Westminster, MD. This parade is considered by many, to be the longest, consecutively run, parades in the country. Join Carroll Post #31 - The American Legion as we continue this humbling tradition ensuring we always remember our fallen Heroes!

The Memorial Day Remembrance Parade will start at 10:00 AM followed by the Observance Ceremony at 11:00 am at Westminster cemetery.

The program will be streamed live online and on cable cable channel HD 1086, and channel 19 and will be recorded for rebroadcast.

In addition to live streaming coverage Memorial Day Remembrance Parade & Observance Ceremony, the Community Media Center will feature a full day of special programming on channel HD-1086 and channel 19 including an Honor Roll of Carroll County service men & women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country as well as veteran interviews from the Carroll County History Projects Oral History Collection, as a tribute to local veterans
