Westminster girls lacrosse gets past city rival Winters Mill

The Owls won their third straight game by defeating the Falcons on April 27, 2022.

Jess Kent totaled 3 goals and 2 assists to help Westminster defeat Winters Mill 17-6 on April 27 in Carroll County Athletic League girls lacrosse action.

The visiting Owls improved to 10-2, and 4-1 in the CCAL. And they won their third game in a row. Westminster is 8-1 in April, having lost only to undefeated Century. Kent finished with 5 goals in the Owls' 13-8 victory against Towson on April 25.

Alex Powell and Kaitlin Clements netted 2 goals each for the Falcons, who fell to 0-10, 0-5.

Recap: The Cavs (4-5) finished the CCAL portion of their regular season schedule at 3-3 thanks to a road win over the Eagles (0-9, 0-5). Cash Stanton and Ben O'Brien had 2 goals apiece for SC, and Braden Chaney collected 14 saves.
