Top 5 Things to Do This Weekend

Thursday, November 11th - Sunday, November 14th

Dive right into this weekend with the Town of Sykesville's Sykesville Craft Beer Festival for some fall fun, and of course, learning lots about your favorite beers. Another town sponsored event is the monthly Taneytown Business Breakfast, organized by the Taneytown Chamber of Commerce and the City of Taneytown office of Economic Development, which is a chance to network your business and learn some tips. A great place to sell your goods, or find some cool gifts and yummy items, would be the Mistletoe Mart, Ebenezer UMC's Holly Mart, or Carroll County Farmer’s Market featuring the Local Artist Guild! Or if you're in for some shows and entertainment, this weekend has you covered! At the Carroll Arts Center, The Truffle Hunters will be premiering, and at McDaniel College, Chamber Music on the Hill features Cellist Steven Thomas with Pianist Kevin Sharpe. Turning up the excitement, PFlag-Westminster's 4th Annual Westminster Drag Show is happily on for 2021! Although, don't forget to support your local students! Liberty Drama's Clue: Live on Stage High School Edition, MVHS Maverick Theater's Peter and the Starcatcher, Winters Mill High School Drama's Once Upon a Time on Klick Klock, and The Key Players' Peter and Wendy are all excited to have live audiences once again. Plus we have a preview of next week - Sharón Clark will bring Classic Jazz and Motown to Carroll Arts Center on November 20th

There's never not something to do, especially this weekend! Have fun, stay safe, and break a leg Carroll!

Ms. Clark has performed as a featured soloist with the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, the Richmond Symphony, and the Baltimore Symphony.
