Summer is here and we've got a host of events for you to enjoy. This weekend learn about Carroll's history at the 2022 Corbit’s Charge: The Civil War in Carroll County. Carroll Arts Center is the place to enjoy the 1989 film Field of Dreams with actor Dwier Brown available for a meet & greet after the show, also at the Arts Center check out the Taneytown Dance Center's spring recital, “RADIATE.” The Carroll County Farm Museum will host the Secret Garden Music, Arts, & Wine Festival. This weekend at Carroll Ag Center it's the Heaven’s to Betsey Flea Market and Quilt Day at the Farmer’s Market. And don't forget about all of the fantastic farmers markets throughout Carroll County!

1. Corbit’s Charge: The Civil War in Carroll County
Saturday, June 25th, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
For free, enjoy a full day of Carroll County History. The Pipe Creek Civil War Round Table and other historical groups commemorate the war which took place on Westminster streets. There will be military demonstrations, Civil War arms and equipment, military drilling, children’s activities and games, and presentations from historians. Guided tours are featured during the event as well. Another aspect is a memorial service, which recognizes Civil War era civilians, and the soldiers of both the Union and Confederate Armies.
2. Secret Garden Music, Arts, & Wine Festival
Saturday, June 25th, 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Additional Dates Include 7/17, 8/21, & 10/9
April Watts hosts the Weekend Winefest, full of wine, music, and vendors! Jam out to some R&B, Neo-Soul, and more. No outside alcohol is allowed in the event. Tickets are on sale for $30, and some can be purchased at the door. Check out their Facbook page below for more information regarding performers, special guests, and all the other info you could need.
3. Radiate- Irish Dance Recital
Presented by the Taneytown Dance Center

Taneytown Dance Center is proud to present our spring recital, “RADIATE,” to showcase the growth during our 2021-2022 season. Our 2022 recital celebrates our 18th year as a dance community.
4. Field of Dreams with Dwier Brown
Thursday, June 23rd, 7:00 pm
Come see this classic film and one of it's favorite cast members, actor Dwier Brown! Perfect for the summer season and after Father's Day- this film follows an Iowa farmer and his quest to build a baseball diamond. Taunted for his lunacy after being inspired by mysterious voice, ghosts of great players of the past emerge. To find out what happens next, head to the Carroll Arts Center. Tickets are $25-50.
5. Heaven’s to Betsey Flea Market
Saturday, June 25th, 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Free admission! Head to Heaven’s to Betsey Flea Market for raffles, giveaways, food, and great deals! Vendors will be there for all your flea market wants.
6. Quilt Day at the Farmer’s Market
Saturday, June 25th, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Located at the Carroll County Farmer's Market, this is their 9th annual Quilt Day. Learn the history and story behind many a quilts, both new and antique. Besides quilts, the Farmers market is full of Master Gardeners, produce, food stands, and craft vendors. Call Anita at 410-848-7748 for more information.
