The Carroll County History Project was created in 2008 as an ongoing, multi-part effort to preserve the history of Carroll County, Maryland by collecting videotaped memories of people who have lived here and by producing documentary programs about the county, local issues, and the experiences of area residents.

Opioid and Heroin use is a widespread epidemic.  As a result, multiple agencies and organizations throughout Carroll County are working together to address the issues of drug addiction, prevention and emergency treatment.  As a way to help coordinate efforts, we’re compiling a list of events and links to important local resources.
