The Birds of Carroll County:
Production Value (Graphics, Video/Directing, Audio, Editing): Nicely done.
Aesthetic Value (Creativity, Program Pacing, Content): The topic is interesting – I happen to be a bird lover. But – it is very slowly paced and difficult to watch without hoping for 'action.'

Canadian Geese in Carroll County:
Production Value (Graphics, Video/Directing, Audio, Editing): The images of the geese are lovely and certainly the videographer did a wonderful job of capturing the geese on camera. The audio is sometimes unclear.
Aesthetic Value (Creativity, Program Pacing, Content): Pace moves very slowly. I'm not sure that this can be helped given the subject matter.

Carroll Connection:
Production Value (Graphics, Video/Directing, Audio, Editing): Excellent audio – clear and direct. Speaking has a direction and even though it seems unscripted, it flows and doesn't get lost.
Aesthetic Value (Creativity, Program Pacing, Content): Even though there are only two "characters" speaking to one another, they keep up an acceptable pace. They also exude energy and passion for the topic that translates into energy in the video. The video is broken up with the advertisements about Goodwill's work which is informational and adds interest to the video.

Impact: Rec & Parks Volunteer Awards:
Production Value (Graphics, Video/Directing, Audio, Editing): Difficult to say anything negative but way too long for the purpose. It seems there might have been a way to edit it so that significant portions of the recognitions could be included without including everything. Or perhaps I am missing the point. Maybe it is intended to be a memory video as opposed to instructional/ informational – maybe there is a better category for this one. Would have liked to have seen more and better placed close-ups.
Aesthetic Value (Creativity, Program Pacing, Content): The idea of this tape, in and of itself, is important and significant. It is necessary to have records such as this one. I am not certain that there can be any additional creativity supplied by the filmmaker.

Pollyanna:
Production Value (Graphics, Video/Directing, Audio, Editing): The graphics are bright which is wonderful. A simpler font should have been used with the longer words- for clarity. It is easy to tell that the microphones are a distance away from the action. It would have been good if there could have been more close shots including close-ups.
Aesthetic Value (Creativity, Program Pacing, Content): Very creative, not too slow. Content is interesting.

Shearing Sheep in Carroll County:
Production Value (Graphics, Video/Directing, Audio, Editing): No substantive graphics to speak of. Video is fascinating, although a couple of graphics and/ or explanations would have been appropriate where the sound is low.
Aesthetic Value (Creativity, Program Pacing, Content): Thought this was very creative and interesting – novel subject matter.
