Joshua – Media Production

A Carroll County resident, finished his semester at the Anaheim Acting School in Canada and decided to complete a video production internship with the CMC.  After spending time in front of the camera, he wants to learn all about the side of production that happens behind the camera.  He will be here at the CMC from September to December 2016.

Jose – Media Production

Jose Sydnor is a enrolled at Silver Oak Academy and has an interest in multimedia production.  During his internship, he developed and produced a How-To video involving his favorite hobby; skateboarding. To accomplish this, he wrote a script, set a production schedule, recorded voice overs in the CMC audio booth, and used Adobe Premiere Pro CC to edit his video together.  In other words, Sydnor has gotten a taste of video production from start-to-finish.  A big leap and valuable experience for anyone who has never worked with production before!

Cameron – Media Production

A current student at McDaniel College with a major in film, Cameron has already had experience with video production but wanted more hands-on work and training in the studio and editing.  He has been working with the CMC to continue work on Taneytown Business Breakfasts and has assisted with studio productions like Board of Ed candidate profile videos.

Joan – Media Production

Joan’s internship at the Community Media Center has been different than any other internship we’ve had here at our organization. You see, Joan is a year long J1 student VISA from Ireland.  She completed her studies at Galway Community College and traveled to the United States in April of 2016 for work related experience.
