Give Locally - Nonprofit Showcase to replace Annual Holiday Open House
The Community Media Center invites you to take part in the Give Locally - Nonprofit Showcase, a program that is open to all nonprofits in Carroll County. Our goal is to extend your reach, educate the local community on the value of your services, and encourage them to support the local nonprofit community through donations or service.
"Give Locally" On TV and Online
The Give Locally TV program will air multiple times throughout the year, each time offering profiles of different organizations. Guest hosts will talk about the importance of "giving locally" and segments about each organization will follow. Nonprofit segments will detail the organization's impact on the community. Our annual invitation to nonprofits and holiday giving message takes place in November and December.
Nonprofit segments are also added to the Give Locally - Nonprofit Directory at OurCarroll.com. This flexibility will enable organizations to tailor a "call to action" online whether it is for financial support, volunteer recruitment or to simply spread the word about the organization's mission.
Each organization will have access to their video to use as they choose. Organizations that need to update their information may elect to have new videos produced. There is no charge for Give Locally videos.
How to Take Part
In order to create a segment for your organization you will need:
For CMC Members
CMC organizational members may create a full public service announcement for the program. A pre-made script can be tailored to your organization's mission and message. The CMC will meet with you and arrange to record a representative from your organization or create a photo slideshow from your photos and graphics.
