Volunteer Spotlight: Sierra Canapp


Sierra Canapp Volunteering at the Community Media Center was a wonderful experience for me. Being welcomed by a friendly staff helped ease me into my temporary position, while allowing me a chance to learn the vitals of producing and editing broadcasted programs. I enjoyed getting an opportunity to get hands-on with several projects that were brought up throughout my experience. I learned the basics of several programs I was previously inexperienced with, and got a feel for how certain equipment played into the production of television programs. I can't stress enough how grateful I am for getting an opportunity to take a peek into the world of production. I am confident that I am leaving this experience benefited by what I have learned. Thanks again to the staff for being patient and teaching me so much.
