The Town and Community Channel, Channel 23, was added to Carroll County’s cable lineup in 2006 as a source for citizens to learn about their towns. The channel serves the county’s eight municipalities by giving town residents access to various municipal related programs as well as information from town meetings and an electronic bulletin board.
Channel 23 provides a channel of communication to Carroll County citizens concerning the functions, activities, and programs of their municipal governments. The mission of the Town and Community Channel is to expand and enhance citizen access to municipal programs, emergency communications, public participation in local government and municipal economic development.
Channel 23 keeps Carroll County residents up to date 24/7 about municipal events and information. Tune in to see what’s happening in Hampstead, Manchester, Mount Airy, New Windsor, Sykesville, Taneytown, Union Bridge and Westminster.
